- ABOUT THE PROJECT :
EDC Limited is a premier financial institution in Goa developed a vast land area of about 1, 77,000 sq.mts. At Patto Panjim in 1985 to create a business centre for the city of Goa. The infrastructure had to be revamped and the roads, footpaths and services had to be upgraded. The entire area was re-visited and the hierarchy of spaces identified, zones demarcated, roads and traffic flow regulated, with providing footpaths at one level making it a pedestrian friendly complex.

TESTIMONIAL :
The Redevelopment of PATTO PLAZA, a Commercial public land space in Capital City of Panaji- Goa, was hugely successful due to personal interest, creativity and integrity of Mr Rahul Deshpande, his brilliance in Architecture of public spaces combined with his training in Engineering, and his great team at Ms Rahul Deshpande and Associates, who were the Project Consultants for EDC Ltd, a premier public sector undertaking of Government of Goa. The Redevelopment of Patto Plaza, completed in year 2013, was a difficult project due to existing continued use of this 17 hectares of prime public commercial land space in Panaji, where buildings of several public sector, government as well as private sector, stood constructed and used. It was also difficult, due to uncertainties of location of underground services which were about 20 years old then. It was a proud moment for EDC Ltd when the Patto Plaza redevelopment with completely new infrastructure, layout, with increased parking spaces was completed under supervision of Ms Rahul Deshpande and Associates.
